Year 11 College Key Dates/Timelines
| October 2024 to December 2024 | You will begin applying for your post-16 options. You will be given time to do this in school. |

Sixth form and college courses for 2024-25 available to apply for on the College websites. | October 2024 to December 2024 | Complete your college application forms ensuring you have applied to at least two post 16 providers. |
| December 2024 |
College Deadline days (this is the last date you will be able to apply to College - please note they will not allow any late applications) Greenhead College – Applications will close on Monday 2nd December 2024. Huddersfield New College- Applications will close on 6th December 2024. |
| January/February 2025 | Students will have the opportunity to have a Mock interview with an external employer and will be given feedback on this interview. |
| 6th February 2025 | Greenhead College Interviews – Interviews in school taking place in the ILC. |
| March/April 2025 | Kirklees College deadline day for applying. |
| March 2025 | New College interviews TBC – this will be at the College |
| April to July 2025 | Students accept offers for different courses. We advise to accept all offers from all colleges and decide on exam results day in August. |
