Royds Hall academy are proud to report outstanding achievements by students in their GCSEs and other qualifications.
We have some notable outstanding academic performances from Emma Handy (10 grade 8 and 9’s), Emma has been awarded a place at Greenhead College to study Biology, Geography, Mathematics and Further Mathematics.
Mariam Ahmed (8 grade 8 and 9’s) will also attend Greenhead College to study Biology, Chemistry and Psychology, as will Imaad Nisar (7 Grade 9’s) who will study Computer Science, Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Statistics.
We have also seen outstanding progress from, Camille Cox, Ethan Liburd, Salman Asim, Chloe Holroyd, and William Stynes.
This year, following the cancellation of exams, grades were awarded through a process of teacher assessed grades, against a national standard that was approved and awarded by the exam boards.
Mrs Carr, the Academy’s Headteacher said: “We are immensely proud of all the work and achievements of our students, especially after such a difficult and disruptive year. They have shown incredible resilience and outstanding dedication to achieving their personal best. Our teachers have also worked tirelessly to ensure students are able to progress onto post-16 courses and apprenticeships. We wish all our students the very best for the future and hope they use their skills, qualities and GCSE results to achieve success.”
